Damage to car on car park bump

Generalise much?
FWIW my works Mondeo is lowered from the factory as it's the Econetic option and the lowering improves the airflow and reduces drag.
I've scratched the plastic undertray on a few speed bumps and humped back bridges.
But I bet its not lowered as much as this which seems to be the norm nowadays:

I wouldn't exactly call that "the norm". That's way into barry boy territory.
The heavily lowered FTOs you are seeing are probably track-focussed cars with less emphasis on being useful day to day. Either that your missus is choosing to hang out with a bunch of chavs.0 -
Thanks all for the comments, I'm going to give it today to see if it feels like there's actually a problem with the car before I bother pursuing this further.
Hammyman, I'm a 30+ year old manager with two kids. The lowered suspension is about 7 years old and I've never put standard springs back on simply because they still perform very well and I don't see any point standing the cost of a new set.
This is a long winded way of saying I'm not a boy racer and I suggest you wind down your stereo types a little if you actually want to 'help' people.
In fact, if I'd been doing any speed I'd prolly have missed the ridge as the car bounced up.
regards and thanks.

If you had access to a zonda would you waste the day doing "the big shop" at Netto?0 -
Look after the pennies and the pounds will look after the Zonda.0

There is for the public highway. But aren't we into private car park teritory again here? There must be a BS or code of practice that states max height, if the one you hit is over height then I'd have thought you should get your repair costs.

There is. A few documents, state maximum height is 100mm and max face or ridge is 6mm.
Most councils are 75mm. Below this value you'd struggle to claim unless it was poorly marked, maintained and I guess with a non standard vehicle you can see where they'll head!0
