Thanks so much Wonder girl. Basically included in my diet is two thirds of my daily food, a shake and a bar, I get cognitive behaviour therapy to change the way I think about food included in that price. Its the Cambridge diet.

what a fantastic achievement with your weight you must be dead proud of yourself you look great! wish i could do it:rolleyes: with regards to your debt, get yourself a little pad and jot down where your £448 a month goes. the 2 credit cards are relatively small and with a bit of extra effort can be gone soonish if you really put your mind to it. maybe try going out half as much as before or try selling a few bits you have on ebay, im sure with all that weightloss you must have loads of clothes that dont fit anymore!
    best of luck angchris

    Thank you thats great advice.

Does anyone think I should put my credit card balances together on a new credit card at 0%? If so can you suggest any good ones?

That's a really good idea but if you do this please make sure you cut up the other cards as soon as the 0% one comes through. I don't want you making the same mistakes that I did :o

From a fellow Oxfordshire person to another, congratulations on your weight loss, you look great ;)

As for the money that you have left over after bills, try and set yourself a budget and then keep a note of every penny you spend.
I used to fritter money away on magazines, dvds, food, drink etc and it wasn't until I kept note of it I realised just how much I was spending!

  • Just looked at the BBC site and what an amazing achievement and new look. What I can say is that you obviously have developed great willpower and determination. If you now turn some of this focus on clearing your debt, it'll drop in no time.

I encouraged my wife to take up running 2 years ago and she lost loads of weight. She started running for 30 secs and can now run 10 miles. We have adopted the same approach of setting small but totally realistic goals where money is concerned. Just like anything in life if you achieve and get satifaction it becomes addictive and easier.

    Good Luck!
  • Yeeeesh! You look amazing!!

  • Wow! Well done that is a fantastic achievement!

You might be able to tell from my name what I would like to do to lose weight but don't do. :o

Good luck on being debt free by January.
