Thanks for the support; I now feel much better about it again. Filed the junk away... I contacnted the dealer and the Service Manager himself said he though it was a scam and he agreed with my decision. They are ticketing people for having one wheel outside the white line too apparently!
I'll probably come back to you when the next threatening letter arrives but at least I'm ready to ignir them now.
I just feel sorry for all those who are taken in by it.

Hi,
just thought I'd ask whether it is worth writing to NCP after my husband paid a PCCN in the summer? He paid £25 and now looking at the ticket, armed with the knowledge from this site and pepipoo, I know that he shouldn't have! It has no "appeal to Magistrates COurt" mentioned on the reverse so it is clearly a scam one.
Regardsing my PCN from ELite Management and Roxburghe etc, I am up to the Graham White letter and phone calls, theatened legal action etc etc, pay £450 admin costs plus £197 etc etc. THanks for the support to keep me from ever paying these idiots.0 -
Forget the NCP one, once its paid that's an admission of ""Guilt""as far as they are concerned. Just remember for the next time.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

It amazes me who many car parks have no stopped doing the sticky window tickets for when you pay. No wonder this place is littered with stories of the ticwekt falling off somewhere when it should be stuck on.

let's face it, your husband got off pretty lightly at £25; there are some real hammer horror stories out there of people being stung for £140+ .
temper yr husband's deep embarrassment at coughing up by making sure your friends don't fall for the same stunt from this scam-scum.0
