I am going on holiday and wondered how long you can keep your phone off (payg) before it gets disconnected somehow.
not really moneysaving sorry

They won't disconnect you if you don't make a call for two weeks!
It's not based on the time it's switched off, it's the time you last used credit.
If you are worried, just send a text or make a call the day you leave.

I really don't think they will turn it off with only 2 weeks of non use, or thousands and thousands of people would be disconnected every summer when they go away.

Normally it's at least 6 months of non use.
