Hi,
I don't have sky, know nothing about it, but my Dad has decided -aged 72 - that he'd like sky sports to get him through the long scottish winter...!
I know I can buy it for him online, that's not a problem, but he wants to know if he'll still be able to watch tv in his bedroom? Only last year he got a new aerial put up so he could get freeview in bedroom and upstairs.
He's happy to have sky only in the living room, so really my question is will his aerial work for other two tvs? Or does dish do away with aerial? Help!

Nothing to do with his aerial and it will still remain.
The dish will feed the Sky box which can then feed his main TV.0 -
SO there will just be a wee extra cable coming in to the living room, to click into the sky box, yes? If so, that's great, thanks- I don't want to get this wrong, but I want it sorted quickly, he needs something now freeview have cut off sky sports news!:rotfl:0

The dish will be sited somewhere that it can see the satellite and then a cable will be run to the box, might be a bit of a footer, depends on how complicated, then connect it to the TV. Do Sky now only do Sky+boxes? If so he will be able to record one channel while watching another if he wants. The cable will be thicker than a single cable if this is the case but not huge0

Yes, it's a sky+ box advertised on the website, free installation when you take sports package.
He's getting quite excited!0 -
And I think there are some quidco offers to save even more0
