Thanks to all for the thread, will try to post a bit more than last week but had full time hours confirmed so not promising. However OH and kids have the house looking great so it should be easier next week to keep on top of it.
Kids back to school on Thurs so will get back into a routine then.

    list looks like -
Monday - Sitting Room and Hallway
Open the windows and turn on some music!
    Vacuum floors and sofas!
Declutter the chairs, floor and a couple of shelves!!
Vacuum under any furniture you can.. please don't injure yourselves!
HHC in the hallway.. vacuum floors/stairs, wipe paintwork, fling that junk mail!.. if there is a charity shop bag.. FILL IT! Tidy coats/bags/shoes
Empty and wash out any bins

    Extras
    1. Binbag dance
    2. Wipe the windows in these areas and clear sills
    3. Wipe and water any plants
    4. Sort a paperwork pile.. filing, shredding and organising bills to be paid!
Have taken out the smoke alarms seeing as the shower set them off at the weekend so have replaced batteries incase that was the problem.

For any XFaxtor watchers (which i am not normally) but from last nights show the girl Gamu (with the flower in her hair) was a pupil from the school where i work have heard many an assembly where she sang and she is very good but a quiet personality so dont think she will get through to the main show which would be a shame as she really is good.

Will hopefully update after work tomorrow.

I watched it and thought she was VERY good, it brought a tear to my eyes. She's my favourite so far.

Kitchen now is tidy, lunch is done but uniforms are not and I am not getting the ironing board out now as its on the landing outside all the bedrooms but I'll be happy to wake them all up at 6am when I get up (our steam generator is noisy!)

DS came home tonight and commented on student and I think I will speak to our organiser as 3 people have now mentioned (DS being the 3rd) that she has autistic tendancies. I know nothing of this so am now going to look it up.

Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!
  • Im in this week, thanks to pigpen and toots

Thats brilliant news cyclingyorkie - does this mean an improvement, or just good days?

Glad to see you have a shorter list toots - have you healed and recovered now?

Natty68, have a good time with your friend in whitstable tomorrow

Hubby rearranged all the furniture for me today, and it all looks really fab in conservatory and kitchen. I think thats pretty much everything moved around now, so need to get my bum in gear and start the decluttering and moving of the contents. Will do it in babysteps, but everything seems so much better, and it was lovely having more serving space in the kitchen.

Must hoover the LR tomorrow and put away the dried clothes, even if I do nothing else. Still trying at level 1 this week, but looking so much better already.
Live on £4000 a year again for 2011

    Morning all :)
hugs/spoons/pats on the back to those that need them.

Am going to work my way through the list this morning, once DH has gone to work. He hates Mondays & is currently stomping around muttering to himself. It's been a challenging w/e, I think he's fed up of having to do a lot of things while I can't, & he threw all his toys out of the pram about it yesterday. Who had the fleas???!! Think we might need them here.. ;)

anyway... Deep breath!!! Enjoy your day everyone.. Hope the weather isn't too bad where you are.

  • Good morning all, from an extremely wet Surrey! Such a pity as DS has the church holiday club every morning. But I have a solid 3 hours or so to "do things" before he gets back each day and we have lots to do together (lots of things on his to do list it seems! :D).

    List of fun for today..

Monday - Sitting Room and Hallway

Open the windows and turn on some music!
    Vacuum floors and sofas!
Declutter the chairs, floor and a couple of shelves!!

    2. Wipe the windows in these areas and clear sills
    3. Sort a paperwork pile.. filing, shredding and organising bills to be paid!

    · Rough to do plan for the week (DS out in mornings at holiday club)
    · Charity comm./tax office/giftaid setup
    · Write gift aid reclaim notes
    · Catch up on banking
    · Source next contact lenses
    · Meeting prep for tonight
    · Check if meeting on tomorrow or not
    · Check when sewing centre is open – need to buy a machine bit
    · Thank you notes from DS to grandparents & Auntie J

Ok time to hit the shower and then get everyone else up,
