    Evening

Thanks to Pigpen and Toots for starting the thread. Once again I am likely to start it (but unlikely to finish again :o) however I will do my best as time/life allows.

Am at work Mon/Tues and Wed then off until the children go back on 6th Sept. DH has today booked us a few days caravanning on a site in The Broads so looking forward to that.

Am still entertaining challenging French student until Sunday, bless her she is trying but using my perfume and then lying about it is a bit . She has lied about other things as well but nothing serious so hoping we can do next week without any major hiccups.

Welcome to the thread michbright and good luck with flying.

OOOOhhhhh and can you believe its a year since I was panicking about the shoes !!!! Its our anniversary on Thursday - where's that year gone, not sure what we are doing yet, probably nothing knowing us!

Ok had a look at list and first thing that jumps out is smoke alarms, I never did manage to get any from the guy at work so seriously considering making an appt with the fireguys to get it sorted once and for all, especially as last week I nearly choked us all by leaving a pan of mango on the stove - luckily back door was open and most of the fumes escaped!

Right there is still washing on the line that needs bringing in and folding, there is roast dinner needs clearing away, my uniform needs ironing and students lunch needs making.

I will therefore probably not be back until tomorrow evening and if I am kick my butt and tell me to go and do something :D

Hubby decluttering update - he's giving me a lovely foot rub so have let him off. BUT, just read about severe weather warning, so am worrying about what it's going to take to get him to agree to out and sort out the guinea pig hutch.................!

    Evening all

House is surprisingly tidy for the weekend, that'll be because DH is away;)

    DW on
    WM on
    DS3 in the bath

Going to finish bedtimes and then soak my feet whilst checking the bank and credit card statements and watching UB with the elder too.

I'll be in this week but following my own lists. Lots on with the boys and I need to start getting stuff together for Centre Parcs.

NoSo - come on chuck chin up. You can be happy again and you will be but first you need to say this is enough and stop all contact. I know it is hard but sweetie you have suffered far to long x

    Evening campers, 'tis me :)

Thank you to all at FLC for the thread, count me in this week :) Although tomorrow I am off to Whitstable to see a friend that I haven't seen for over 10 weeks, then Thursday I have group therapy and I think in amongst these I am supposed to be going to the beach with my friend T and her brood of sproglets :)

I am sitting here watching Vexed while awaiting my Apricot Upside Down cake to cook, which has been in for over an hour now..and it still won't blooming cook. It's a Something For the Weekend receipe that I have adapted and popped in a loaf tin so that I can slice and freeze what we don't eat. But I don't think it is cooking properly, I had to pop it in a bain marie and cover it with foil but when I checked on it after the right amount of time it was still icky!! Anyway it is now out of the bain marie and no foil on top, so I am hoping it will cook. Strange for me not to have a successful cake as I did a lovely banana and blueberry loaf for DH this morning. :) Oh well we will see if it cooks in a min..it better had!!!

Hope everyone is well, and special hugs to Toots, Piggers (yep you too!), LL, LW and
    Diva:)
