Grumswife - my youngest went into his big boys bed last weekend and I really felt it!! Can't begin to imagine what it will be like when he goes to school, so am sending you a big hug!!
Friday night I stripped one sofa of all covers to wash, only for said youngest child to have a leaky pooey nappy Saturday morning sitting on - yes, you've guessed- the actual, cream non-washable sofa..............................!!!! Definately on of those 'why on earth do I bother' moments. So. I washed the non-washable sofa cushion, then tumbled the non-tumble sofa cushion, feather filled of course, so whole house smelt of wet duck all of yesterday! Good news is no shrinkage so at least I know it can be done again if need be. Good job too, as one of September's goals is toilet training....joy!
Thanks Pigpen for posting so early - he doesn't know it yet, but DH is about to start on the decluttering so I can start tomorrow ahead...sh!0 -

Wow what language is that toots?
Well the nut roast turned out to be really nice, and filling enough that I didn't feel the need for dessert either, which is good. I'm having a value hot chocolate instead of tea as we're nearly out of milk, and can't be without a cup of tea in the morning (value hot chocolate just needs hot water). Have put the rest of the nut roast in the fridge for the moment, and I'm going to investigate how to freeze it in a minute. Moon enjoyed it too, which is good, and now I know how to make a basic nut loaf, I think I'll experiment next time by adding things like dried apricots, or grated apple or dried cranberries.
I'm glad it's the sitting room tomorrow. Mine isn't that bad, but is covered in bags of sale shopping, so I need to find homes for them all. Will ask Moon about the chimney now I've seen that on the list.
Hugs to all who need or want them and thanks to tootles and piggers for the lists and thread.
sexymouse xx
ETA Have just spoken to Moon, and he is going to investigate chimney sweeps this week, as I convinced him that it may be cheaper to get it done at this time of year rather than at the end of the year when it is due, as there would be less demand at this time of year (hopefully). He also wants me to look for chimney sweep brushes so he can do it himself.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170 -
