    *....crawling in, yawning...*

    :hello:Hi ladies. V e r y s l o w start to the day here.
DS2 went to big houseparty in the wild and woolly countryside, supposed to be staying over. Phone call at 1am, could someone please pick him up, he was very drunk. DD was a complete star, and said she'd go, with DS1 to help, and managed to get hold of someone to tell her where it was exactly. Went out and collected him - by this time he was fast asleep. On their way, saw a youngish girl banging on the village pub door (pub in complete darkness) and shouting. They stopped to ask her if she was okay, and realised that she was only 16 and very drunk. She'd been at the pub with friends and her boyfriend, but they'd gone off and left her, and had either taken her bag and ophone, or someone else had, and she'd also fallen and badly grazed her arm. They phoned her home and told her mum who said she'd pick her up. DS1 stayed with her while DD collected DS2, then they waited about 20 minutes, the DD rang the home again - her Dad was so thankful that they were waiting with her, and assured them that mum on the way. Fortunately, she turned up fairly soon after that. So, they didn't get home here until 2am.

By the time we'd sorted everything out, I was wide awake, and only dropped off again after a couple of hours, and stayed in bed until about 9. I'm still not very awake now!

I am proud that my two helped out that girl though. What on earth were the pub doing serving her? And what sort of 'friends' are they?

Okay, flying - mmm... I've put the bedlinen in - just about to hang it out. I've also removed two bags with the stamp collections to be packed up and collected, and advertised the bed canopy thingy that DD no longer wants in her room, and typically has dumped in mine. When DS2 is conscious, I'll run the vacuum around.

Actually, I may just run it round anyway.:D

Jenny - Congratulations on the wedding, and also a big well done to your DS.

Is that the time??? I think I'll have lunch!

Rain has stopped play - well at least the gardening. Never mind I've done today's HH out there, more would have been nice.

Lunch done. I'm going to do a shopping list next and then when I drop DS3 to his friends I can go and get all the bits we need for holiday :j

DS1 has a brace problem so back to the ortho on Friday which I could have done without. School just rang and said he is one of their high achievers in the GCSEs and would he like to go on the Oxbridge week programme in September:j

Washing on the maiden next and then a cuppa I think.

That's brilliant news! DS1 had the opportunity to spend a couple of days in Cambridge with the Aim Higher programme and loved it. It was a great experience for him, even if that won't be where he's heading. Hope your DS1 enjoys it as much.

Now running to catch up with the HHC.

I have done a mammoth ironing challenge this morning and yet there is still more ironing to be done than has been done! That tells me we definitely have far too many clothes- I can feel a clearout coming on.

Bit of drama this morning, after only just getting over the cat's vet bill -went out to feed precious bunny and he has a manky eye. Rang vets and by 10.10 was £34 lighter in my bank. He is moulting really badly this year so I think it may be that. He was so good bless him when they were poking around with his eye and in his mouth, making sure it wasn't his teeth. He got half a weetabix as a treat when we got back home, he'd scoffed it by the time I had put the pet carrier away,:rotfl: so def nothing wrong with his gnashers.

I am a bit unsure on updating the fly list:- do you do each day individually or as a job lot or,do you keep editing throught the day or week, don't wanna bee seen as the thread hogger :o

    Onestep-Hope I wasn't too horrible at school:A

    Hi,
I have done loads today so thought I deserved a short break.

After two phone calls to my phone provider I have managed to get them to agree that I was overcharged last month and I have £50 winging its way here.

I am now looking for a Kenwood chef on ebay as it would make life a lot easier for me.
