Aww Dustykitten sorry the headache has transferred itself to you.

I'm about to assault the bedroom - anyone care for a HHC 11:20 to 11:50? I normally don't do a whole HH at a time, but I'm going to give it a go and see how I manage.;)

What a coincidence, onestep and sparkle. Hope you enjoy your weekend.

Thank you, dusty. We ended up with quite a pleasant evening. I went out for some 'lemonade' for DS1 and his friend, and I also got some pizza for me and the boys (DH doesn't like it very much). Hope you can get rid of the headache soon.

I've talked to both DH and DS1 a few times about sorting things out between them, but didn't get anywhere. DH expects an apology (for something that happened almost 14 months ago) and DS1 won't apologise. It's affected how I feel about DH, as I can't understand how you can just cut off a child like that.

Had a lazy start to the day with a massive (unplanned) lie-in. Will finish second cuppa, find some food) and then DO SOMETHING (shouting at self).

    Don't over do it LameWolf!

Have just put Jake down for a sleep in Master Bedroom so that will have to wait. Turned a bit miserable here so not risking pegging the washing out, going to load the dryer/airers and do my dailies. And eat, am starving today for some reason.
    So, there are these boys,
    They kinda stole my heart,
    They call me Mummy

Thankyou for your support ladies. Son's dad chose to be a KH last night - he isn't usually; but then I don't usually look to him for emotional support!! I put the phone down fervently hoping that he gets fleas!! DS was brilliant though -am sooooo glad he doesn't taken after his father.

The situation at work isn't clearcut. I dont even know if i'm an employee or a worker! I work for the local council, but I'm employed by an agency....and I don't have anything in writing as to hours etc. I started off on Maternity Cover at one Children's Centre, when that ended I moved across to cover a Materity Leave at another Centre. That employee only wanted to return to work for 2 days a week, so I was asked to stay on and work the other three days. All fine so far. Now she has decided that she wants more hours, so they've told me they're taking them off me as from 6th Sept. She's employed through a Service Level Agreement with a private company.....

I'm going in to the agency on Friday to see where I stand/ if they have anything else I can do/what they say.

In the meantime I did declutter Mr T's delivery last night. I put the frozen & chilled stuff away and would usually have left the rest, and tripped over it for the next few days pulling out what I needed when I needed it:eek:....but I thought No! and one bag at a time i put it all away ....thinking 'this is for you flyladies'.

Thankyou one and all you are obviously a good influence:)

    Long may it last xx

Not bad going, for me.... in my HHC I:
    Cleaned bedroom windows
Cleaned the glass in 12 (count 'em!:D) picture frames
Cleared the debris (candle holder and incense ash) from last night's Full Moon and put a clean cloth on
Put the duster-onna-stick round every "crook and nanny" in the room, including behind the rad
Dusted and polished all the flat surfaces
Tidied the bedside cabinets (tops only; the drawers in mine are OK and Mr LW can do his own:eek:) and tidied my cosmetics
Looked guiltily at the tape measure I have set by to measure me for new bras..... eventually:cool:
Dusted the light shade and my Dreamcatcher, both of which required me to stand on the bed to do
Put a tablet of soap from the small stash in the knicker-drawer into the bathroom, as I was down to virtually just a soap-bubble for my bath this morning

I'm going to have a break now, and maybe a spot of lunch in a bit....:D

For the last gazillion years I have had a double mattress residing on my landing usually (ok always) covered in clothes waiting to be ironed.

Today my loveley friend has been round and taken the nasty monstrosity away. " ladies man handling a matress into an estate car in the pouring rain was a sight for the neighbours to behold i'm sure!

I now have a landing back! (I also have about an ironing pile 5ft6 high)

ANyone for a HHC at 12.30?
