Had a nightmare getting home from airport card declined on all cash machines even though ive plenty of money in account

Tried to access my telephone banking to get a balance/check transactions and found that the service is not available.
Spoke to customer service who apologised and said service will hopefully be back up sometime today.

My card works at the atm.

No problems today. On line account working normally, got cash out from ATM and paid cheque in at A&L auto-bank both of which showed up straight away on line, but one reason why I always have a Mastercard and Visa card in my wallet as well as a card access Tesco savings account with £20 in it for emergencies

I am having the samne problem right now which started a couple days ago out the blue. Went into bank today to sort it and they had not the foggest to why i was being declined online and at atms and in shops as my card hadnt being blocked etc and i have avaliable funds. They got me to make sure my pin was not locked and also change my pin number on the atm but still not working...so now they are sending me a new pin. I don't know how this will help if i had changed it on the atm to no avail.

This thread was posted end of august so wondered if anyone has been having problems now like me?
