    Our Corsa has an Izuzu engine and runs well on recycled chip fat but have never tried to use neat oil, maily due to the hassle of collecting it in drums and decantimg it. Much easier to go to the pump. Not as cheap possibly but still saves 10 - 15p/litre.
    I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.

    no vat on veg oil as its classed as a foodstuff

    not many average family diesels are that economical.. I might get 12K from 2,500 litres ( albeit at the other end of scale)

    Gettin around 50 MPG on 75% oil 25% diesel so the 2500 litres oil will give me nearly 35k miles.
