Asda Direct price difference

Hope I am posting this in the right place.
I ordered and paid for some items from Asda Direct, including school trousers at £3 each. I have received them, and have noticed the price labels on the trousers say £2.50. I have been charged £3 for each pair of trousers as this the price listed on the website, however I am a bit miffed that they should be £2.50? Am I within my rights to ask for the difference?
Thanks.

I would suspect that as they were offered to you at £3 and you accepted theres nothing that you can really do about it. You technically have not been overcharged.
You could always ask ASDA though they may just give you the difference back.0 -

In short no, the contract was made with you accepting to buy the trousers at £3 ea. However if you ask nicely Asda may refund you the differance....however if they say no there is nothing you can do.The Googlewhacker referance is to Dave Gorman and not to my opinion of the search engine!
If I give you advice it is only a view and always always take professional advice before acting!!!
4 people on the ignore list....Bliss!0 -
Would you pay up if the trousers said £3.50 and Asda asked for their extra 50p?0

Did you pay for delivery? Would you have to pay to return them? Could you go to your nearest Asda and see if they are selling them in there for £2.50 and buy them there, and then return the others?
I had a similar problem instore, where the trousers were marked up at one price, but they charged me more at the till, took to customer services and they refunded the difference.
So even if the tills charge you £3 instore, you would get the difference back.
I dont blame you for buying economy trousers, even expensive school uniforms can get trashed by 'playground wear and tear', (especially lads trousers!) even if they do wear well, they will be grown out of quick anyway!0 -
They have obviously missed reticketing them after a price increase.
People are only human.
You can ask for them to honour it but it is not your right0 -
Nothing wrong with buying cheap school uniforms, anyone with half a brain and experience of having children knows that...
That said I wouldn't stress yourself out over 50p, it's really not worth the time and effort.0 -
