just been on woolworth site and managed to order one to pick up in store on 24/10/06 for £28ish using codes E15T10 (10%off) and w11i think this was the code, comp playing up(another 10% off). hope this helps someone

There's someone on ebay who's sending messages to people who've bid on Elmos, telling them they can get them cheaper at Woolworths & Amazon. Bit cheeky!

I think Hamley's stock levels are the real litmus test of this 'gamble' They hosted the Worldwide launch at the shop, their head buyer thinks Elmo will be the must-have Xmas toy, so I reckon they must have ordered an absolute shedload of these toys.

just checked on my pre order with play.com - they now have it as due in on the 16th October.........so its gone from 2nd Oct to 8th Oct to now 16th Oct..... hmmmmmmmmmmmmm not very good that!
