Hi, all you Elmo speculators i have 4 to resell at a later date, i am hoping to make a small profit and 1 to keep for a present.
how many do the rest have try to be honest0 -
None at all!
At the moment they appear to be going for "break even" rates on eBay but some of the auctions are being won by "activists" who object to resellers and leave instant negative feedback.
Were I selling I'd go for a BIN auction at £47.99 - may get luckyCan I help?0 -
Only 4 here(I have not got a beer gut, its a fuel tank for a love machine):eek:0

I bought 9 sold 6 but I think I've been let down by 1 buyer so unless they pay soon I'll keep the 4 left till nearer xmas. I covered the cost of 3 and a bit so I can't really lose out now.0

I've only got 2
:beer:0 -
I got 2, 1 for our use and the other will be sold later when I hope they are no longer available. if not I know a few people that are looking for them, my dad even took ours in to work the other day and was asked to take in in to the bosses office so the staff up there could see it.0

Fed up of poor wee elmo now to the back teeth.
Fed up of people playing dirty on ebay.Had similar over a 99p cat collar and powerseller from hell who thought it was their god given right to have all the sales so played dirty.
You could do exactly the same, ie list at £49.95 with free postage and pay for featured status. You could even undercut that seller, its a free market.
Its all to do with profit margin, perhaps that seller is happier to make less than you are.
Dont forget its a free market...“All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt.” Charles M Schulz0 -
Got one put away for Christmas for my 16 month old daughter.
Could have got plenty more to sell on ebay, but at £5-£10 profit, apart from the gamble, didn't think it was worth the stress or hastle. Also, you only need one dodgy buyer to pull a fast one and then all your profits goes out the window.0 -
one for me + two to re-sell at a later date (like december).0
