As xmas get nearer and these become more popular youll find loads of scammers will try sell these on ebay making it hard for genuine people to sell them.Last year got hold of 30 xbox 360`s-day they were delivered(launch day) put them for sale on ebay, following day my listings were removed and my account suspended for breaking ebay user policy after days of emails i had to fax/post them proff i actually had these consoles to sell-this took 5 weeks to sort out-by then id missed the xmas rush and a lot of profit!still managed to seel most of them in local paper for less than on ebay but stil made nice profit.
So mite be a good idea to contact ebay stating you are going to be selling x amount of these in run up to xmas and ask if they put note on your account or something that you actuaklly have these to sell and save missing the xmas rush??

Sorry, I was just putting the kids to bed!

No, I'm not reporting others-really not my style. And our messages must have crossed, you say you were charging less then me (although you have still not said exactly what you WERE charging! This is turning into a Jeremy Paxman type affair!)

But as you were said you were charging less than me (which was less than actual cost), I was about to offer you my unreserved apologies and to express my sympathy with your position, and to suggest you mail ebay about your complaint.

I sold my two about a week ago-picked three up in Toys R Us, sold two and have got one for my friends new-born baby-utterly inappropriate, but what do you buy the third-born girl!

And I think you owe me an apology-I dont come on here to have slanderous comments made about me.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
£8.00 £8.00 Royal Mail 1st Class Standard 1 to 2 working days United Kingdom only
£10.00 £10.00 Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded 1 to 2 working days United Kingdom only

the difference in cost between first class standard and first class recorded is only 68p, yet you are charging £2 extra - your bubble wrap, brown paper, labels costs would be exactly the same whichever service. So you are charging over the actual difference amount, yes?

and before anyone jumps down my throat, no, I don't have any of these Elmo things either to sell or otherwise so I'm just making an observation here.

I dont come on to be deliberately antagonised so I dont think I need to apologise for fact you cant read.

It was your postage that was in dispute I thought.....

  • I dont find your postal charges high when you take into packaging costs and trip to post office. The majority of ebayers are charging between £8 and £10 and if they are charging less then they are losing money.

I charged £8.95 for special delivery royal mail service = actual cost around £7.70. £13.99 for Europe which was almost exactly actual cost for signed for delivery and for the US signed for delivery was almost £20.

Mine have also been pulled - my postage was £10 UK, £15 Europe and £20 North AM - I have replied saying I am ok pulling mine if they pull the other 50 odd with equiv postage. I have not actually posted any so was using others prices as a guide.
Item no 200032587329 is quoting £59.99 postage and has not been pulled.
