    I know it may not be the same
    but when one of our radiaters
    sprang a leak,we got a leaflet
    in B&Q on how to replace a
    radiater and went to the
    Plumb centre,the staff were
    great bought the radiater &
    fixings for £45 and tackled it
    ourselves.

    I agree with the suggestion
    about buying your own stuff and getting
    a workman in for the day,it will save you a lot.

    Premises? Why would a plasterer/joiner/painter need premises?
    Yes, they could just leave their spare tools and materials out in the road at night.
