Hi
My connection has turned rubbish recently, slow as a week in jail.

I've rebooted everything twice over and raised the router a big higher in my house but still only 3 bars - I have always had 5 bars with excellent strength. Speed test has dropped from 7 => 1.5.

Any ideas? Thx in advance.

First thing to do is establish your connection speed.

Connect your router to your master telephone socket, and if you can's connect wireless use an Ethernet connection to your Laptop.

Log on to your router:-

http://192.168.0.1/sky_router_status.html

user admin, password sky.

find show statistics at the bottom of the page, and post them here.

Run the programme on your laptop.

You should see your wireless channel along with others in your immediate area.
If their are strong signals on top of yours then the interference may be your problem. Find a free channel, log on to your router again, go to wireless settings and change to the channel you found above.

See if this improves your connection.
