Saturday 21st/Sunday 22nd August - what small things will do this weekend???!

  • Hi all

DS’s birthday today, although he’s still in bed :D! Should hopefully be a relatively low-key day though, as a lot of his friends are on holiday, so he’s planning a sleepover with 5 teenage boys next weekend…

Ooooh, I love Sunday mornings, it’s feeling relaxed because I’ve already had Saturday to get over last week, and not yet wound up because there’s work tomorrow! Of course, the feeling wears off as the day progresses and Monday gets closer, but for now I can just enjoy.

So, I’m having a bit of a slow start, but once I get my rear into gear I aim to:
    • Check bank and update spreadsheet
    • Surveys – already done…none
    • Check what’s in freezer and cupboards to see what’s needed
    • After checking bank and freezer, decide if I can/should do a small shop this week
    • Get ready to pack ebay stuff which finishes today
    • All food from stores
    • HC and line dry, hope it stays dry
    • Ironing for the week
    • Deal with accumulated paperwork
    • Spend ½ hour tidying the garden

    Think that’s enough for now.

    Catch up later.

No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

Thanks to everyone who posts competitions. You are the stars of the board :T:j:T

I refuse to be afraid of the big bad wolf, spiders, or debt collection agencies; one of them's not real and the other two are powerless without my fear.
(Ok, one of them is powerless, spiders can be nasty.)

As of the last count I have cleared
    [STRIKE]23.16%[/STRIKE] 22.49% of my debt. :(

    - Right well already re-listed a few things on Ebay...its free listing today and tomorrow according to my email...bit strange to have Sunday and Monday but there you go!
    [/STRIKE]

    - Plan to list some more later- another 1 added, ooh 4 items and 3 watchers...not bad, I'd rather have some bids though!

[STRIKE] - Do a couple more Radar taste samples after the hoard I brought yesterday after getting invited at last.[/STRIKE]

    - Get a good chunk of the dissertation done- not done anywhere as near as much as I'd like but done at least another 1,000 words today. Pretty hard going when its beautiful outside

    [STRIKE] - Walk dogs later[/STRIKE]

Well I guess its kind of a productive day.....
Debt free and busy treating myself:)

No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales

bleugh!!!! Got back from the cotswolds this morning and it was VEEEERRRRY drunken!!!

I am so glad I took my own - it was £7 for a glass of wine - yikes!!!

I did get to try a new invension called the kangaroo, half a pint of cider, Advocat and Blackcurrent. Sounds minging, tastes ace. However I didn't buy any as they were charging £8 for it!!!!!

On a positive note, I have been shopping for the week and stuck to budget. It may be something to do with the fact that I was too hungover to want any food - lol.

Glad to see we are all being good DFW today.

Ps - did you buy the bacon frazzles??!
