HTC Wildfire Vs Samsung wave
Hi Guys,
I am really scratching my head as to what to choose from....I have a choice to select htc wildfire or samsung wave....but which one to go for....
I normally use my mobile for
1. listening to music
2. browsing
3. youtube
4. may like playing games
5. reading any novels on it (i know weird but i do ever since my first smart phone SE W990i)
6. I do like tethering and from what I can see Wave comes with a preloaded app for tethering...
7.Gmail application's calendar must sync with my phone's and i shall be able to attach files while sending mails from my gmail account.
I already have used wildfire quiet a bit...although there are lot of apps on market i dont use any and i really hate low screen resolution...
would you think i will have joy with Wave than with Wildfire....
please let me know your opinions if you had used either of the phones.... thanks

I have only read reviews of both, and paid most attention to the HTC Wildfire reviews. The software is wonderful by all accounts, but the screen is a serious deal breaker....from this alone, I would say go for the Samsung.
Out of interest, I have just recieved a Samsung Galaxy Apollo - and it is very very nice - screen is excellent. Might be something for you to think about...........0 -

same feeling from me....the screen of wildfire sucks really....i am coming from nokia 5800 and when i look at the screen of wildfire it makes me demotivated a bit....

I find it a good step up from the 5800, and can't wait till I get rid of it next month, was looking at the desire but wont in any way be disappointed with the overall class of the Wildfire0 -
What about the legend?
Wave = wildfire
Appolo = Legend
Galaxy s = Desire
Thats the rough translation anyways.Back by no demand whatsoever.0 -
I've got the 5800 and daughter got the Wildfire, in no way does the screen as you put it "sucks".

My personal feeling though.....as i said i browse a lot and due to low screen res on widlfire after a few mins of browsing i can feel the stress of my eyes....0 -

Finally settled with Sansung Wave. After a weeks use, I love it. The way it handles teh things is awesome. It just ticks all the boxes for me.....android is good but low screen resolution is big a drawback.
Thanks for everyone on their opinions and suggestions.0
