Looked on the Simple switch site for green energy and the cheapest is BG click energy, heard a lot of bad reports about BG. Does anyone have Click Energy, any thoughts please?

They are due a price rise later this year.
I tried to change to them a while back and ended up on their standard tariff by mistake and I couldn't get them to switch me over to Click. I also experienced the worst customer service experiences of my life. That's not to say you'll necessarily have problems too, of course.0 -
Masonic is correct, BG have not yet put prices up for BG click, the feeling is this is very sneaky as people will change over to them only to be stung with the price rise almost immediately on the account being set up (its planned for the end of the year) this being the case your account is unlikely to be set up before price rise, this price rise is unlikely to make them your cheapest option.

I instigated a transfer to BG 10 days ago and have now cancelled it.
They estimated that my DD should be approx £55 EACH for gas and electricity (twice as much as I'm paying with Powergen) and they operate a system whereby you need a DD for each service you take. I know this isn't a tremendous hassle, but I prefer just the one payment coming out.
Also, having cancelled this transfer with Energyhelpline and BG I get a letter this morning from BG telling me that they're glad to be supplying my energy .0 -
I have electricity with BG Click Energy, switched a couple of months ago.
It wasn't the quickest switch but they were pretty good at telling me when the switch would happen etc. Website seems OK - I can log in and enter reading easily enough. Customer service wise I'd say they're not as good as SWALEC group, but a lot better that Scottish Power.0 -
BG have made it clear that there will be no further price increases this year.:money:0

Where have they stated categorically that the prices will go up?:money:0

From BG website
"When you sign up we'll freeze your prices until later this year. So, this means you can rest assured that you won't be affected by our new September rates for some time. ""You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "0 -
Was with BG Click for 3 months. A dreadful experience. Website didn't work, emails unanswered, phone support rubbish, no bills, not even sure if I was on the click tariff or not. The only thing that worked was the direct debit going out each month. Switched away last month, then this month I get a letter saying that BG Click prices are going up soon. Glad I left them but it looks like they haven't realised yet.0

Whenever BG has a price rise, if you look to join them then they will state that the price increase won`t affect you for a period to encourage you to still switch to them.
Once that period passes then you pay the going rate at that time.
You couldn`t class that as BG having a further price increase as you are already aware of it befor eyou sign up. It just doesn`t affect you for a while.
They have ruled out any further price increases this year.
I received this letter a few days ago confirming this.
You need to save it and then zoom in to read it but it says `We have already made it clear that there will be no further price increases this year.`:money:0
