although it might be cheaper to go from Stansted even with travel cost to get there and back included.

I am sure Oslo Torp airport (flying with Ryanair) is quite a distance actually from Oslo?

Thanks for this. you are correxct about Trop being far. That's why I'm not keen on Ryanair. I would like the cost to be about £150 - £175 in total. BA is still expensive - they have no child fare (he is under 11)

    Hi
Can anyone help? We're thinking about going to Canada or the States next year skiing. No preference on resort

    Details are:

    Depart London
5th April 2008 or few days following
    Ideally for 10 days
    Prefer catered chalet
    There are 10 of us
looking for good value options upto around £700.

    Thanks

    Hi :)

I’ve just discovered this brilliant thread. We’re in the process of planning our next trip to the US, and I would be grateful if someone could help us with the following:

    2 adults
    Departure airport: all London airports
    Destination: San Francisco
Between 8th and 14th November (to arrive in the UK on 15th)
    Night flights acceptable
We want to book flights + accommodation + car
Preferably Hotel York or Hotel Fusion in San Francisco, and definitely not Hotel Renoir (based on TripAdvisor reviews)
Maximum budget: £850 - maybe too optimistic? (the online quotes we've got so far are in the region of £1000)

    Thank you.

    Hope someone can help
    2 Adults
    From: Manchester
To: Barbados (want to be near St Lawrence Gap, or within easy reach)
    Depart: 2-4 June
    Stay: 14 nights
    Budget: £500 each
    Board: H/b or better

I know my budget is not a lot, I have seen hol to Silver Sands in Barbados with F/Choice for about £450 but that is self catering, my mate won't do self catering, and if I don't manage to find a great hol she wants to drag me to mallorca (not my cup of tea;)) So I really need your help

ooh if can't find Barbados, any other Carribean will do:D IThanks

Your not going to get Barbados (other than SC) for £500pp
Even Dom Rep you would have to wait till last minute to get it for £500pp in a half decent hotel.
Its cheap enough to eat if you stay down in the Gap try BB or there ahve been some really good deals for the Pacific side of Mexico for around 700pp 3*AI or Margarita for around £600pp for 3+*AI http://www.eclipsedirect.co.uk/holiday/index.cfm?step=accommodation_details&si=000DA326%2D064E%2D15F4%2DB9A8836F9C510879
From Manchester on the 7th June £1270
You might get the Cayo's in Cuba for about £600pp

    This is base price
    4 stars/All Inclusive/14 nights

    Leaving from: Manchester

    07 June 2007 at 12:00
    £519 Allocation on arrival

Other places you might stand a chance or getting something in budget are Sri Lanka/Goa/Maldives but its low season in these places and you could get a lot of rain.
You could also get Kenya with african safari club for your budget but again its likely to rain alot
    Hope that helps

Thanks Sloppychops. I kinda figured that we wouldn't get anything for our budget. You mentioned B+Bs in the Gap, do you know how we could go about booking something like this? Have seen plenty hotels but they are all very expensive.

Thought about booking seperatley (flight + acom) but that option works out way over budget. Any ideas?
