Hoping someone can help me out.
I will be in London with my fiancee from Friday 02 March to Monday 5th March. I am hoping to stay at the Hilton Metropole in Paddington. I have had a look at various websites for a standard room with breakfast included and the best price I can get is £438 direct via the Hilton website.
Can anybody find the same Hotel cheaper? Or can anyone suggest an alternative Hotel within walking distance of Paddington that has similar leisure facilities (pool, sauna, gym)?

Thanks for any help. I realise it is short notice and this may be affecting the cost but it was a spur of the moment thing. Our flights into London were relatively cheap so I am willing to pay the above quote to stay at the Hilton if I can't find it cheaper.

We would be looking for the full week, but now due to visa-lazyness we are looking at Prague. Hopefully that should drop the price as well? The dates are fairly inflexible; co-ordinated holidays etc, however for a good deal we would definately be willing to drop a few days to fit within those dates.

most of what i see advertised (lastminute etc) is very pricey for dubai. however, someone told me that you can get b&b accommodation for £20-£30 per person per night?....

this would be for two adults and would need to include flights.
