Are your date fixed?...I just had a quick look and spotted 31st may 129 from Gatwick with MyTravel

Yes unfortuantely they are. Son's g/f is a teacher so has to go during term time only, which is why all the flights go up hugely:mad: .

  • Hello Travelman, I know you don't deal in long-haul but perhaps you have a colleague that can help?

    1.
For my brother, a two week holiday in Cuba in September. It's for two people, ideally leaving on 8th Sep, or as soon after that as possible.
The resort he fancies is the Cayo Coco, and he'd like an all-inclusive deal. 3* or 4* would be great (they're not overly fussy but I think they'd like a named hotel). Manchester would be the ideal departure airport (but also Birmingham, or London if necessary). I think their best quote so far is around £680 pp (from First Choice)

    2.
For me, a seemingly hopeless crusade to find a cheap flight to Entebbe (Uganda) in mid-July. I'd like to go as soon after 13th July as possible. Coming back by 19th September. I want to go out to do voluntary work at an orphanage, but if I can't get anything cheaper than £700 I may have to let them down. I desperately don't want to do that, so any advice or help would be very gratefully received.

    Thanks,
    Ally

    travelman,

need a piece of information. i am in the process of booking 2 tickets to delhi for early dec. could you advise i should to go ahead and do the booking or wait for some time. if i was told correctly the busy period is between 11th to 24th dec. i also wanted to know if i do the booking and tommorow an offers pops up is it advisable to cancel the tickets and buy new tickets. is it true that once a ticket is bought at a certain price and if the ticket price goes up then one need to pay the difference at the airport.

    thanks in advance.

    Cheers

Hi i'm looking for a nice holiday - aren't we all!

1-manchester, liverpool, east midlands, birmingham (order of preferance)
    2-Duration - 2weeks
3-(27th June 05 earliest, 4th July latest we can leave)
4-Any flight acceptable as long as we can be there for 2 weeks
    5-Party size - 2 adults
6- Board - would like B&B but if get fly drive to states thats ok too. and max star for £. if half board or AI is cheaper then we are pretty flexable.
7-Resort - not lively (ie teen rave place) and not old folks home - anything in between, village / town next to teen rave place would be ok.
8-WOULD NOT go to Tenerife, Ibiza, Majorca, Corfu, Tunisa, Zante, Gambia, Lanazorate, Cyprus (been there done that!). Would like somewhere exocitic but not sure on our budget its poss?
9-must be able to access local food - not just english!
10-Prices - we can book up till the week before - pool (necessary) and beach would be nice, and some areas of cultural interest.
11-Max. budget FOR whole party MAX 600 inc booking fees and cc charges if applicable.
Treat everyday as your last one on earth! and one day you will be right.
