You will need to up your budget no matter what.Leaving it till last min is a risk at Xmas time unless your quite happy to go allocated on arrival or to a destination thats not as warm as you would like or a place you dont want to go to (ie Canaries).IMHO i would book ASAP.
To get an all inclusive holiday at Xmas to somewhere hot is going to be costly and well above the budget you have now.
I will see whats available and let you know what sort of prices you are looking at."Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."0 -

Hi , can you help with this at all? Not sure if best to book now or leave till day before? Would like to go away but if we don't its not the end of the world! I've found paphos for 4 nights for 180 pp,i think taxes will be on top of this though, and was hoping to get to the canaries really. £400 is max budget but cheaper the better! Can you tell me if you think we would have a realistic chance of getting a better deal closer to the time, even though we take the risk of finding nothing, as I don't mind if we don't end up going, it would be nice though!! cheers.
1 - Any northwest airports/ would also go to leeds/bradford/ birmigham/ east midlands if necessary
2-between 3 & 5 nights
3-1st day - 27th (evening onwards, last = 01/01 (could only go for 3 nights then - ie latest day to get back is 4/1)
4-Are night flights acceptable ? yes
5-Party size & kids ages 2 adults
6-Board basis you require- any
7-Type of resort - any , prefer lively - ish!!- also hot as is possible for the price - are canaries a possibility?
8-Any resorts/countries you WOULD NOT go to tunisia/egypt
9-Any other neccesary factors, ie must have kids - no
10-Prices required by what day/time? whenever - happy to book any time up to day b4 - if we can't get anything cheap enough we won't go!
11-Max. budget FOR THE WHOLE PARTY!!! £400!!0 -
after weeks of arranging, discussing and planning cgristmas at home with family and friends, everything is going pear shape. confusion over dates, pre-arranged plans for DD1 and DD2 etc etc i am now seriously considering going somewhere hot. ideally leaving any london airport either the sat or sun and staying until until the tuesday 26th (husband back at work wednesday). for me, hubbie and 15yr old son we dont have a limitless budget, but we know its going to be quite expensive. as reasonable a price as possible is probably the best we can say...the HOT element could be overlooked if something special was available in the uk. please please please do what you can, have already had 2 great holidays thanks to your great finds0

Bit of advice please.
My mum wants to go to Scotland next october to see all the relatives. She wants me along (mainly for driving). I don't mind be nice to see people i have'nt seen for nearly 30 years.
This is my plan fly into either inverness/aberdeen on 06/10/2007 fly out either one 13/10/2007. Hiring car for the duration. 4 adults going. Any london prefer stansted
Now is best to book up now or wait to sometime in the new year. I know with the no frills airlines the earlier you book the cheaper the flight but what about BA is it the same.
Cheers in advanceif i had known then what i know now0
