Heres a one to Prague but if you wait till Dec/Jan time when the low cost airlines bring out their flights for this period, you will have a better choice and hopefully pick up a good deal.
Give me a shout nearer to this time.

  • savapenny - thanks for so many recommendations, there were so many I couldn't make up my mind! Have decided to narrow down destination to the Caribbean...so this isn't really a request for a specific quote (sorry) more of a recommendation for the best place to go.

I'm single and looking for a rest, not worried about culture (don't want to feel that I should be up visiting places instead of sitting on a beach) not big on evening entertaining - would much rather find somewhere with a spa. I would prefer an all inclusive package so that I don't have to think too much about where to eat. Looking for 2 weeks anytime between mid Oct and end Nov.

any suggestions on islands or hotels would be much appreciated
  • I would opt for Grenada its a total chill out place
Cuba I would go to the southern end (Holguin) because of the better class of hotel and less commercial
St Lucia like I said is very coupley ...if thats the word
Barbados is a bit party islandish..nice but unless you can go top notch its not going to hit the mark
Antigua ..very nice island but again coupley.
Did you have a look at the True Blue place in Grenada and the hotel in Cuba?
If you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel
  • Hi guys and again, thank you for your help so far.
Finanlly we have narrowed our search doen to 2 hotels as hubby wants to be practically on the marina!!

The Alay and the H10 Palmasol both in Benalmadena - room only or B&B.
    25.10.06 - 1.11.06
Any ideas whether it's worth contacting them direct for a better price than we can find on the net?
