Hi, ace thread - thought i'd give this a bash even though i've done a lot of investigation myself on the topic.

Looking at Thailand [bangkok 3 nights, hua-hin or cha-am 11 nights, bangkok 1 night [road transfers]] or Malaysia [kuala lumpur 3 nights, (beach resort (pattaya or langkawi?) (flights for those transfers) 11 nights, kuala lumpur 1 night]

1-Edinburgh; Glasgow [either via heathrow, amsterdam or dubai/doha, i think]
2-See above [3 nights city, 11 nights beach, 1 night city]
3-Ideal 10/11/06, can go as early as 03/11/06 and as far back as 20/11/06 for leaving.
4-Night Flights are acceptable.
5-2 Adults
6-B&B for both the city bit and the beach bit.
7-Quiet resort if possible.
8-Just looking for Thailand and Malaysia possibilities at present.
9-Smoking Room - Double Bed. 4 or 5 star accom only tho.
10-Looking to book in the next few days.
11-Preliminary invetigation suggests that flights are ~£475 from UK to KUL or BKK. Accom in city is ~£40 a room per night b&b, maybe up to £60 for a semi decent beach hotel (4* or above) for both possible venues, all in looking at < £1,000 pp but more like ~£950 pp if we can get it.

Some amazing deals and I've just been trying to research the hotels to see which seem the best. Currently the Kiroseiz Three Corners Resort Hotel 5 stars is my favourite but I was wondering which deal you guys would recommend?

Also, for transfers would it be best to just jump a cab? Never been to Egypt before but quite fancy snorkelling which I'm told is great and the weather is the other factor.
