Well after phoning family to double check that i could go ahead with the booking for sharm, my sister and father no longer want to come. This changes holiday requirements now as it will now be just me and mum and she wants to go to luxor. Having looked on holidays uncovered, and tripadvisor it seems the sofitel karnak will be our best bet, as we'd like somewhere with a gym and spa facilities, unless anyone has any better suggestions.

I am looking on various websites for a half board package, flying either from London or Birmingham (on 12th november again), sloppychops if you could come to my rescue again it would be greatly appreciated! Are any ofg the tour companies better than others? I don't mind just hopping in a cab from the airport for example to avoid a long wait.

    Hi guys,

Had a really stressful summer due to family member being very ill, had holidays all done and dusted ready to go in june and had to cancel 4 days prior to departure, now looks as if we can squeeze in a week somewhere, so we are looking for something quite so that we can chill out, hope you can maybe help out, we had planned to go to turkey antalya area, lara beach to be exact, but the price has jumped up and is now out our reach.

    1-Airports - Glasgow, prestwick, edinburgh
    2-Duration - 7 nights
3-1st & last dates to leave the UK - between 7th sept - 11 th sept
4-Are night flights acceptable? - yes, but would rather not
    5-Party size & kids ages - 2 adults
    6-Board basis you require - all-inclusive
7-Type of resort, ie quiet, lively - quiet, preferably 4 or 5 star
8-Any resorts/countries you WOULD NOT go to - Egypt
9-Any other necessary factors - don`t want to have to worry about groups of young ones causing noise at night, basically chill out during day and a meal or show at night
10-Prices required by what day/time? – as soon as available, would like to get booked somewhere
11-Max. budget FOR THE WHOLE PARTY!!! £800 - £900, could go slightly more for the right place... excluding spending money

Any help would be appreiated, as we really need to get away for destressing...

    Thanks
    Jen :-)
