    Hi There,

Thanks to your excellent advice, I have found this excellent deal, I am a bit dubious though as Iit's very cheap and it's the first time that I book a holiday through this company, the details are:

    http://www.thomsonbeach.co.uk/

Do a search for a departure on the 27th june for Costa Brava,

This will return 3 results, I am inetersted in the second one: Santa Monica Hotel 154£pp.

I know the final price will be much higher, but can someone tell me if there are other pitfalls? (hotel, transfer, beach, half board...)

Is it worth it to upgrade to the Golden Taurus Park Resort? (184£)
    Cheers.
(Actually, this is for my parents and I don't want to mess up their holidays)

    Hi there,

looking through all the thread, have followed some of the links but I'm also looking at guidance from some of you parents out there as well!

My wife and I are about to part company, I'm really unsure of the future so I want to ensure that at least I can make the summer fun for the boys.

    What can the forum suggest?
Budget is the only limitation, and that's around the £800 mark for the 3 of us.

Don't care what she organises (not quite acrimonious yet, but getting there...) but both the boys love the water, are outgoing, social animals! If a club is available, then great, it'll give me a couple of hours to myself.

Oh, and if whale watching is available, that'll do!!!!!

    Details:
    1-All Midlands, Stansted or Luton
    2-14 Nights
3-21-22 July 06 (because they finish school, so flights after 8pm on 21/7)
    4-Yes
    5-1 Adult, 2 Kids (my age - about 3 in my wife's eyes!!!) (10 and 8)
    6-self-catering, all-inclusive or bb - NOT h/b
7-Not fussed really, but not looking at Ibiza clubland either.
    8-Nope - eyes open though...
    9-Yep, kids compulsory
10-When you can, but I'd like to get it booked and know it's done.
club, pool, be within 'x' metres from sea...yes please...etc
    11-Max. budget about £800.

Beach required! Pool might be useful, but not essential.
Local facilities, a bit of nightlife but has to be child-friendly.
    Anywhere!

If you can come up with something amazing then I can move on budget, but this money is for my new home so don't go mad!

    Thanks in advance,

    hapless

Chris - this is my first ever post so if I've got this wrong pse accept my apologies. Am after a holiday leaving sometime during the first week of October (not weekends) for a week. Just me and the Wife (in our 40s) - somewhere reasonably warm. Wish list would include quality hotel either self catering or B&B or alternatively a private villa with pool - Happy to book last minute if I have to - would prefer to fly from birmingham total cost around 500 (including flights/transfers). Can you advise/help?
    Thanks John
