I'm not sure if this is the right place to post but I was hoping maybe saveapenny and co could come up with a couple of ideas for me? We're looking at a holiday for 6 adults, ideally the middle two weeks of June. Would like somewhere fairly warm but not the typical sit on a beach or round a pool type places. Have been to Cyprus, Malta, France and not really bothered about Spain etc.

Can anyone recommend somewhere where theres plenty to do (shopping, sight seeing etc), warm weather and not overly expensive? Would consider either a villa or hotel if its the right place. We like Canada (east coast) but seems to be too much above our budget. Any help would be fab as we're getting desperate to sort something out.

I am not sure if this is the right place to post. We are looking to go to Florida in October 2007 (13th-27th). There will be 2 adults and 2 children (15 and 13) and we would like to fly from Glasgow, stay in a villa with a pool in Kissimmee and car hire. Are we too early to be able to price it out at the moment?

We've thought about egytp, may need some persuading though. Florida is a big no, been there done that unfortunately. Is a budget around £500 pp too low? Ideally we'd like a fortnight although we'd consider a week. We''d be travelling from the midlands but dont mind flying from london or travelling like that if made it cheaper/easier to do.
