Download them from the manufacturers homepage?

You mentioned earlier that there are no question marks in the device manager. Is the wireless switched off by any chance? Most laptops have a switch or a key combinations for this...

No offense, but do we need to ask you for every info which might be necessary?

As a start, what is the make and model of your laptop? Do you really think it is the same for all laptops?

Can you imagine a postman trying to deliver a letter with only London written on the envelope?

Please, what are you thinking? :) Of course we need the make and model number?

Knowing nothing about computers is no excuse for not realising that any manufacturer may have more than a single machine in their range.
How can we know which one?

Send the kid here for a bit of home schooling. I don't think you are up to the job. :)

    PS: I am teasing. So please...smile. :)

How old is your grand child? Maybe he/she can help ;)

And I was not offended, it just makes it very difficult to help you if you don't give us all the informations needed. And again, you didn't give us the model name.

    I'll try regardless ;)

"If the computer is a notebook using the integrated wireless adapter, make sure that the wireless antenna radio is turned on. Most Gateway notebooks have a designated multi-function button or function key to turn your wireless antenna on or off. This information is located in your notebook's user guide.
    • Gateway 200ARC - Multi-function button (last on right)
    • Gateway® M275 - keyboard keys Fn+F7
    • Gateway M505 - Multi-function button (first on top)
    • Gateway M500 - Multi-function button (last on top)
    • Gateway M675 - Multi-function button (last on right)
    • Most other Gateway notebooks - keyboard keys Fn+F2"

As you can see, not all models from the same manufacturer have the same way of switching the wifi on or off.
