Sorry to sound stupid. I registered with Betfair poker and download this morning (and 100 points have been deducted). Turned off the computer, went to work. Now I am home, turn the computer back on. What do I do next to get back to the Pigsback Poker page. Do I need to download something again to join the tournement tonight? Do I have to play to earn the 400 points?

If you downloaded and installed the software it should be on your computer. You just need to open this program and log in with your username and password. You need to find the piggypoints tournament and enter the password you were given in order to register (if you haven't already). You need to have registered and not log off before it starts to get the 500 points but I don't think you really have to play!

Have you got the betfair software on your pc? I'm assuming so as you do mention downloading something. Log into it, go to multitable tournaments, then private.. and register for pigsback, using the poker password you received when you registered on pigsback (the one that starts with a W and ends with a P ;) )

You could easily go all in and go out in last place to be sure to get your points with regards to having to play.. someone mentioned above that they know someone who wasn't even logged in after they'd registered for the poker earlier on that still got their points.. but i'd probably have at least one hand played to make sure.

Thanks. I think I have registered, because I have been given a password and 100 pp have been deducted. I did not log off, but the pc was off (is it the same). Now I just can't find where to enter the given password. (I am really feeling stupid, please nobody laugh!)

Where it says 'register' i believe it's an orange button on the piggy points new window that opens within the betfair software (when you have clicked on the private multitable tournaments).

sya220, you're not stupid, and I'm not altogether stupid either (despite what Mrs DS says! ;)), but I found the business of actually getting on to the game more complicated than it need be. And maybe it was because of the state of tension I was in at the thought of the game, but most of the instructions kindly placed on here didn't help me at all. All of them assumed a certain prior knowledge on my part. Eventually, one person (forget who but am eternally grateful!) gave step-by-step instructions for drongos and I got there. Of course, I'd no idea what to do with the game itself, but that didn't matter. I got my 400. Good luck!
