Hello everyone
Contract runs out next week and have asked for my pac code.
Cant afford the iphone, so its
Samsung Galaxy £20 per month
Sony X10 tbc
HTC desire-£15 per month
All free handsets with Voda

I want to use my phone for surfing,Photos and music, not interested in Gaming.
Any suggestions, I did read that the desire hd will be out in Sept.

Thanks

galaxy s for the swype keyboard, best battery better screen, bigger screen, better wifi connectivity. htc desire for the camera flash, and user interface, your choice ps dont touch the x10 it only runs android 1.6 so some apps dont work on it

The x10 has a very very poor battery life. The Samsung is a great phone as is the Desire, a hard choice to make.

Swype can be purchased on Desire. Out of the two hardware wise the Samsung is more powerful, but the Desire has better support at the moment. I chose the Desire just over a month ago, but now I would say the Galaxy as long as you don't mind no flash on camera....

  • I've got the same decision to make soon.. the Galaxy is winning in my mind at the momment since the Desire has no forward facing camera.. so no video calls

I would pick the Desire over the Galaxy for one reason HTC will provide Android updates when they come out. Samsung are notoriously bad for software updates as they seem to just move onto the next new handset ( I learned the hard way).
