Right then, I want a new phone and an new mp3 player. Should I
a) Get an 16gb iPhone4 on Vodafone for £30 a month plus £169 for the phone
or
b) Get an HTC Desire, again on Vodafone for £30 a month, pay nothing for the phone and buy a 160gb iPOD Classic for around £190?
Any ideas?

This is my quest, to follow that star, no matter how hopeless, no matter how far.

surely thats a no brainer? haha
i have an ipod classic and i havent touched it since i got my iphone
come to think of it, havent turned my camera on either0 -
The no brainer is having both the htc and ipod. You'd have access to both app stores and have the benefit of your music use not killing your phone battery.0

No brainier is option c and getting a desire and getting a pmp that doesnt sound like dirt. I personally have a sony x series and its fantastic sound quality (not heard better yet) and makes ipods sound like records (its like the difference between a dvd and bluray but with audio)
you wont believe how bad ipods sound once youve listened to some of the better competition. So you wont have the app store but you wont need it, in a year or so android will be nipping at the heels of the app store (going by current standards)Back by no demand whatsoever.0 -
Iphone every time.:)
Mine's used as....
phone.
music player.
games machine.
remote control.
diary.
alarm clock.
messenger.
camera.
sat nav.
I have the Iphone 3gs 32g,so imagine how much more the Iphone4 can do.:)0 -
go for the iphone, i have both htc desire, and iphone, yet i hardly touch my htc desire, i dont have the new, iphone, but have the 3gs, which, does all, that i need. The only difference, with the new one, in my opinion, is the so called facetime, feature, were you can call someone, and see them, but sadly, the other person, will need to have the new iphone as well, which most or all of my friends, dont have, so all stick, with the 3gs, which is far cheaper to buy.0

Not sure what you're using your iPhone as a remote control for but the Desire can do everything else on your list. If you have 2.2 it will even sync with iTunes if you want. It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0 -
