I think its fab. Having something that counts how many I've entered would be handy for me.

I love the idea of this, but for me it isn't doing exactly what I want it to do. I want to see at a glance which competitions I've already looked at, to know whether I've entered it or dismissed it as one I don't want to enter.

I like the idea that someone else (sorry, can't remember who!) suggested, of having another button to click if you have looked but don't want to enter - maybe showing as a tick on a red background, or a cross. The I could tell at a glance which comps I still need to look at.

Also need the ticks to show in search functions, as up until now this was how I mostly entered comps - I'm having to change the way I do things, but I suppose that's okay.

I think I'm going to "self-remedy" until any further improvements are (hopefully) made! I'm going to try ticking the entered button for everything I've looked at, whether I've entered it or not, and use the Thanks button for those that I actually enter.

Tick button is great, so much easier to use the forum now! I agree with easylife73 though, a dismissed button would make the forums even better!

These links have been sent to MSE Ian in case the MSE team are no longer following this thread. It would be good to know if this problem is a temporary glitch or here to stay - I am still subscribing to threads in order to see the comps I have entered when using the Search facility.

Unfortunately there has been no reply to the 2 pm's querying the lack of tick on the search facility (despite MSE Ian being online).
