i came here last night to report exactly about the missing top tick on search results and saw it was already noted, so that was gr8

however i find myself back here again, to report that it is not only the top tick in search results that is missing, but will also be the top tick when browsing by page number too

I also find it unreliable, I've gone back to using the subscribe function instead, to avoid duplicate entries.

but the thanks button eliminates such a scenario, the tick is there to make it clearer at a glance what you have entered to save subscribing, however until they fix the top result tick you shouldnt be disqualifying yourself, just wasting maybe another 5 seconds of your life because once the page loads you will know not to enter again because there is no thanks button visible meaning you have already entered it

also the enter button will also say 'unenter' and there will also be a big green/white tick above the top subject line

so really no need to revert back to the old

Hi all.
I was having the same problem with the Entered tick not showing up on the top thread and after reading Ian's post today have double checked and the problem is gone (Win 7 IE8).
Thanks Ian.

What I would like to put forward for discussion would be an Enter button on the forum view page so we can mark as entered competions we aren't going to enter without haveing to open the thread.
It makes scanning back nice and quick for comp threads that have been missed.

What do you think?

I think this is a great idea, it would save lots of time. Perhaps a little red X box would be good.
