I'm not exonerating anyone, just pointing out that you were at fault too. Millions manage to plan weddings and buy rings without this outcome

Damn I should have picked up on the fact that you changed it to salesperson.

Agreed, millions of weddings go off without a hitch but a google search of 'wedding ring problems' returns 2,460,000 results, so millions do have a similar problems as well
