O2 "There was a known fault with iPhone. We'll credit you the £40 browsing charges"

Hi all
Simple this....
Went to Ibiza on 27th July this year. While I was away I kept getting texts from O2 saying my data roaming costs were rising, EVEN THOUGH I HADN'T EVEN USED MY PHONE. On my return on 6th August, I rang them and went mad at them and told them it was IMPOSSIBLE I could of used this data as some days the phone wasn't even charged up. It was in the room safe!. They said they would investigate (I was on the phone for 1 hour with various reps).
They just rang me back today (11 days later) and told me:
"Hi. We have carried out an investigation. I can tell you that there was a known fault with the iPhone browser at that time which meant you were incorrectly charged. We apologise and we will credit your account immediately"
What P****s me off is that I've been away 4 times this year and paid the previous roaming charges without questioning them. It was only this time when I KNEW i hadn't used the phone that I questioned it.
How many other users are being ripped off??
I can't see any way though how I can get them to credit my 3 previous bills which include 'Roaming' charges.
One thing that might help others who challenge their roaming costs..........
When I first spoke to their tech guy he told me the roaming charges ALL seemed to be round about midnight to 2am on EVERY occasion I was charged!. That's just too much of a coincedence! So, guys n gals, if you challenge your charges, ask what times you supposedly used the roaming.
Hope this helps somebody...
