I am just dreading that it will be physical and I will have to remove my clothes or something. :(

I've never had an assessment - have just applied but there's no reason why you should need to take your clothes off, please don't worry about that. If you are claiming that you have difficulty lifting your arms etc... then wear loose clothing so that they can test your movement.
There's some basic information about what happens during a medical HERE

Ive had a medical. TBH i think mines was directed around my contition with things like checking my balance, my grip etc. the guy also asked questions about if i was incontinent, did i need a wee often during the night, when i did did OH have to help me. It was like the form but he was asking questions. MYyguy came to my house though, I didn't have to go to a centre.

just to confirm to the op - 'medical' makes it sound like when your gp gives you a thorough going over.

a benefits medical is just (for mental health, agraphobia etc.) just asking you questions and stuff..

a benefits medical (for claiming for physical illness) is just asking someone to walk/touch their toes/pick something up/turn a tap etc to test physical ability

in short, you have nothing at all to worry about. because your claim isnt physical it will just be a chat with a doctor/medical examiner
2 esa medicals passed successfully (support group - it can be done!!)!! :j
