    that will help with the overheating, although have been told this model is bad for overheating.

    How slow? How much ram?

    when you start it up, it takes ages to log in, and then when you try to open anything, firefox, google chrome, ie, it takes about 5 minutes and then they open, and then when trying to navigate to sites, it takes ages, and same with microsoft applications.

    will have to power it up again for ram.

    think it is only 512.

    You can find the ram in task manager, or right click on my computer.

    What is the commit charge in task manager?

    spybot/teatimer doesn't help speed.
