in Techie Stuff
on my vista c drive i have 37.1gb i have used 32.1 gb & have 5.07 gb free space left . how do i get more free space. have run cccleaner & done a defrag. but dont seem to get more free space. am not relly very up on the technical side of pcs so a simple answer would be appreciated thanks

sounds as if your system only has a 40gb hard drive, in this case the options open to you are delete some programs or files or buy a second hard drive
personally i owuld say a second hard drive is the best bet as they are not too expensive, so the first thing is are you using a laptop or a desktop?Drop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save

40GB is tiny -you can get bigger USB sticks these days0 -

Don't switch off System Restore-just delete the old Sys Restore points. It retains the most recent copy.No free lunch, and no free laptop
