Your help needed urgently

Hi everyone,

I am calling on all MSE'ers out there to make an old man very happy.

I go in a social club and in this club there is an old guy who has been in over 50 years and has always enjoyed a rum and pep, however he only like britvic pep.

Britvic no longer make this cordial but I am sure there are some bottles out there somewhere.

This guys health is deteriorating and I would hate to see him outlive his favourite drink. Can anyone find me some bottles of Britvic Peppermint Cordial. I am willing to pay reasonable costs to anyone who can find me one or two, I dotn see him outliving 12 (a case).

  • I think the only chance I got is a landlord with plenty in stock or a cash and carry somewhere

    Email the press office:

    pressoffice@britvic.co.uk

ask them to help out, and offer them a write-up in your local paper if they can make an old man very happy. IT would be great PR for them to try and find a few bottles for him, and I'm sure your local paper would run a picture story on it if you wrote them a release. I can help with that if you want as I'm a journalist.

I would contact them myself but I don;t know all the details.

    good luck!

I've seen Britvic peppermint cordial for sale in a supermarket. I think it was either Sainsburys or Somerfield, but I can't remember which!
Here I go again on my own....

but the press office might well get them back as a PR exercise if you ask nicely! Just a thought.
