Thursday 19th Aug - What small DFW things will you do today?

Evening all
I have had a fab day though spent a fair bit!!!
OH and I had a day off together today so we took the kids to watch Toy Story 3 in 3D and then to pizza hut. Kids eat free with any adult meal so The meal cost £19.18 and £24 for the cinema! I keep feeling bad we spent so much but then over the holidays we have done soooo many things on tesco vouchers or geocaching in the countryside which doesn't cost a penny etc. So the odd holiday spend shouldn't feel too bad.
Then i went in ELC and the wooden toy tree house was in stock to go with DD2's dolld house. I had a 20% off voucher so i got it for £32. That will be her main presents to go with a few little bits and then some clothes to see her through the winter which i will need to buy anyway.
I hope every one has had a great day

Remember to attach the adaptor plug to a 4 socket extension cable and then you get 4 sockets for the price of 1 adaptor plug...
Brilliant tip - thanks so much, I've never thought of doing that0 -
try and find a way to descale one of our toilets, tried cheap coke and it got some off, but, still more on there..

Jonno - there is a post on the grabbit thread - M&S have an offer of two bottles of bleach with limescale remover for 70p. That might do the trick.
Must dash, as I am at work - but it is my last day so I am being naughty and coming on here!:p
Thanks so much, will pop by one tomorrow and give it a whirl.0 -

Take DD to get her A level results
Good news :T! DD got a B and two Cs, which now secures her place at Uni. Am so pleased, I even shed a tear
:D. She's over the moon having not expected to get the grades she needed (her confidence hasn't been too good lately
) so this was just the boost she needed.
I'm one very happy Beeny
