As the title says, Clearing List in the Independent this year? I remember they did it last year and would imagine that its a yearly recurrence. Has it already happened Or If its not too much to ask can someone post here when/if it does come out?
Thanks,
Pat

You can't log into UCAS at the moment though. I've been trying to, as I need to print another copy of my acceptance letter for when I go to Natwest later today.
It says try again mid-morning.

My son finally got onto UCAS as did my niece but it took them nearly an hour of watching a little grey box slowly loading, so be patient and persevere.
My son and my niece have both got their 1st choice universities, thank goodness! Just need to go to school now and get their grades.
Keep trying Flickering_Ember and good luck.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I feel for you.
Whislt we were sitting here waiting for UCAS to let my son in we were watching BBC TV news. The bloke in charge of the uni system (didn't catch his name) was making me so cross, I'm not sure whether he was deliberately being misleading or was genuinely clueless. Said there were extra places this year, then 3 minutes later mentioned there were fewer places 'overall'. Then he said no one would go without a uni place if they really want one, but then immediately said that as so many would be disappointed they needed to broaded their horizons and started rambling on about that 14 year old girl who was sailing round the wrold single handed.
So, don't study medicine to become a good doctor just take up sailing and spend a year out at sea..what is he on?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. THANKS - sad thing is i want to be a Social Worker and in Yorkshire they are calling out for them..... (always what i wanted to do, just couldn't afford uni)...
in the process of being made redundant, but i will just have to apply for next year.

Absolutely ridiculous it really is. We offer subjects that don't have any use for a job, yet where there are jobs we don't have the uni courses in sufficient numbers.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
