Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed over the last few weeks that McDonalds appear to have REDUCED the chicken content in McNuggets?
Come on McDonalds - let the truth be known!!
Noticed that the weather's gone colder and wetter recently? If you grabbed any chicken by its nuggets at the moment they'd feel a little more spongey than usual, and I doubt the chucks in the cellars of you local McDonalds are any different.0 -
A friend of ours runs a pub and he used to do chicken nuggets for children's meals. Good quality chicken breast cut into chunks, rolled in breadcrumbs and fried.
He stopped after parents refused to give them to children as they weren't like MacDonalds - i.e. all one shape and full of pap.0 -

Are MacDonalds nuggets done in breadcrumbs? That could have been the issue.
That Hugh Fernley guy showed you a simple way to do it once (racing against someone doing them from a packet), my kids love them.0 -
I would just like to add that I too tried nuggets again recently and they have definately gone down hill.

It still shocks me that people still buy take away food for their kids as a meal.....what ever happened to take aways being a treat once every 6 months or so?
Even then a McDonalds is stretching the imagination as a 'treat'.0 -
I'm no great fan of McDonalds (have not eaten there in months if not years) but some of the shrieking hysterical nonsense is unbeleavable.
McDonalds Chicken nuggets are bad for you because they are deep fried, end of, not because of the quality of the meat or "Chemicals" (most of the stuff on that ingredient list are naturally occuring ingredients being given their technical names: e.g. Potassium Chloride is one of the two chemicals we call salt, and is much better for you than sodium chloride).0
