Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed over the last few weeks that McDonalds appear to have REDUCED the chicken content in McNuggets?

They were quite 'meaty' in texture, with a little bit of the 'bread-like' glue that sticks the nugget together, but they seem to have recently changed so that there is a lot more of the 'glue' and a lot less chicken.

They are now more like the Value ones that cost about £1 for 30 in supermarkets.

I bought a box of 20 to share with one of the kids this afternoon and we couldn't eat them all, because they were nasty and cheap tasting. (...and it has to be said I do normally like the odd nugget or 6)

Bleurghhhhhhh!

My friend, a head chef, always advises people to NEVER under any circumstances, eat chicken nuggets.

He said if people seen the rubbish that went into them then they wouldn't be able to eat them.

I didn't concern myself with details as I'm a veggie anyways!

    Quality REDUCING?

That implies that they were half decent to start with....
  • Cuts backs are no surprise, specially by a fast food company who have less customers than a few years ago.

Is there really any 'real' chicken in McNuggets? - I think that is a question not requiring an answer.

Often the burgers and nuggets can be all chewy too -

    Luckily I've never tasted them.

If you've noticed this in just a few weeks, withabix, how often are you eating them?

Quite the opposite. Mcdonalds are doing rather well at the moment as are most fast food companies.
