Good luck - with T-Mobile the tariff i got was the Sim Only 15 - 350 mins and unlimited texts for £15 per month, somehow i have 1gb of internet also which is fab as i have an iphone.
I have had this now for a while and after 3 months i was eligible for a handset if i wanted one.
I can almost guarantee you will get accepted over the phone. Just realised though they do need a debit card to take £2 off for an identity check so unless you have one then wait until you get the maestro from Yorkshire Bank.0 -
David...cheers! To my surprise they gave me a standard bank a/c with maestro & cheque book!! Well pleased...sorry to be thivk but do they report monthly to your credit file hence improving your credit rating?0

Great news! Most current accounts do, i'm not that sure with Yorkshire Bank, from what i can remember, yes. Best off checking on the Banking page someone will let you know quite fast.
I can guarantee you will now get accepted with T-Mobile!

Please get rid of your cash plus!! I'm a strong believer that nobody should have to pay for this type of service!! you don't need to pay them anymore so bin it off and enjoy your new current account!!!

Hi David...agree but 2 reasons keeping cashplus...firstly it gives payment protection if a company goes bust & secondly I've signed up to their 'creditbuilder' that helps with my credit files...will keep you posted re: sim only-just need to wait for the maestro!!!0

Ok....so have a new bank a/c with just under 3 years at current address-no other address used as abroad....no adverse...no present credit arrangements (with the exception of the 'creditbuilder' from prepaid mastercard-not showing on credit files yet)...applied to tesco mobile (their 500 mins sim only rolling contract for a tenner)....over phone....was 'referred' & was asked to verify id by giving passport number-which I did-I then passed!!!!! I'm not sure if tesco report monthly to the credit file (or only report if you f**k it up!) but its all good news. Also applied on-line to 1st telecom for a 'cable saver' a/c to reduce virgin phone bills....this was accepted too! So...all good news!0
