hi there i dont know if im posting in the correct forum so apologies if not...
right i am in arrears of my mortgage and secured loan currently at about £1300 for mortgage and £1000 for secured loan,i have been paying as much as i can and it has come to the point were we physically cant afford to anymore,it starts basically as i was made disabled 2 years ago and claim low rate on both parts DLA,since then my partner has worked to support our family bless her:o,we have 3 kids and also claim tax credits at £223 per week as well as my partners wages at £800 per month, now we also have unsecured debts which i am currently on a DMP for but this is were my question begins,if my house gets repossesed how long does the process take and am i right in thinking we cannot get housing benefit on a new rented house until the house has been repossessed and i am no longer the owner on the land registry,i have rang the council and they said we will get some help towards rent at the new rented house so its just a queston of the whole housing benefit process,i would really appreciate advice thanks jonny

I would have happily helped if I was able to understand your post. Many of us here having trouble reading text too, hence my suggestion. I won't try to help now. Good luck with your eviction.

For starters, if your reposessed the council won't rehouse you as you, will have made yourself intentionally homeless also you will find it very hard to get private rented with a bad credit rating and most landlords won't eXcept HB.
There are various mortgage rescue schemes, which you need to find out about.0 -

Have you spoken with your mortgage lender to see if you can renegotiate the terms of your mortgage, go interest only etc.?
Are you currently getting any help with your mortgage?0 -
