    I agree, it might not 'acheive' anything but if you don't complaint you will get nothing.

    If you were not made aware when you signed up for the Xmas scheme that you could not 'opt out' then this could be misleading.

    Always worth a try.

    You can opt out, but this will then take effect from the next rollout of vouchers. As the OP did not opt out prior to the current roll out that is why. I too apparently opted for the Chistmas scheme although I don't remember doing so but opted back out and got vouchers rolled over on the next rollout. Just a timing issue.

    The reason people are negative towards SirMarcus is due to the fact that these boards were designed for the discussion of consumer rights.

    By SirMarcus posting excerpts from http://www.connectotel.com/marcus/ceoemail.html kills any sort of debate and therefore renders this board completely pointless.

    In addition emailing the CEO should be a last resort when dealing with comapnies directly, as if they refuse to help, you have nowhere to escalate to. If you start at the bottom, you have many chances to escalate, and therefore stand more chance of a positive result.

    The point you are not getting is that SirMarcus simply googles an email address. If you honestly think that, for example, the CEO of a large company has your email ping up on his blackberry, then sadly you are mistaken.

    Have you ever seen SirMarcus actually attempt at discussing the issue? I haven't. Just "Suggest you escalate..."
