Oh a couple of other stores.

Abercrombie and Fitch (massive store on 5th Ave) - quite popular here now, however they have not opened up a store here yet (but will be very soon).

Also American Eagle - not so popular here, but quite popular in the States.

I should point out both these stores are quite "preppie".

Banana Republic, Gap and Old Navy are all owned by the same company.

Jeans in Gap are pretty cheap, bit more expensive in Banana Republic.

For electronics there is only really one place, J&R near City Hall.

For something slightly top end, have a look at Kenneth Cole.

Other top end store is Barney's.

My friends in the states like Intermix (women's store), they are all over the city.

Just realised this is a double posted thread. Would it be an idea for the mods to merge the threads?

  • :cheesy: I posted in two places so that I would receive replies from those reading either post. In so doing I have a had a better response than I would had I posted only once.:cheesy:

:cheesy: As my question applied to both TRAVEL and SHOPPING, I wanted to ensure the optimum response. Merging the two posts would have defeated this objective.
